Thank you for reminding me Brianna about posting this definition of TEK. While I will not be expecting you guys to regurgitate it on an exam, having a definition is a good starting point for understanding a concept.
TEK (Traditional Ecological Knowledge) is a cumulative body of knowledge, practice and belief handed down orally through generations about the relationship of living things with one another and their environment.
