•Using Advertising Missionaries as a case study, discuss acculturation in the context of globalization and some of the consequences.
•How do we navigate these developments to the benefit of the recipient culture and balance tradition and modernity to “allow” a culture to be dynamic?
•What kinds of profound culture change can be associated with globalization? Think about topics like gender, kinship, and subsistence already considered in this class.
